Privacy Policy
WhiskerDairy (Android app and web app) · Effective October 18, 2026
WhiskerDairy is a pet-care app for tracking pets, medications, vaccinations, vet visits, notes, expenses and reminders. It is operated by Navicore Limited ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, who processes it, and how you can delete it.
1. Data we collect
Account data
- Email address and password (the password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us in plain text)
- Display name
Content you enter
- Pet profiles: name, date of birth, breed, colour, gender, notes, feeding time, and a photo if you add one
- Health records: medications (name, dosage, schedule), vaccinations (name, dates, notes; on the web app also an optional vaccine card image and text read from it), vet visits, weight entries and notes
- Expenses and reminders you create
Photos
- If you choose a photo from your library or take one with the camera, that image is uploaded to our image host and the link is stored with the pet's profile. The app does not access your camera or photo library for any other purpose.
2. How we use it
- To provide the app's features: show your pets and records, calculate summaries, and send reminders (for example upcoming vaccinations) by email.
- To keep your account secure and to operate and fix the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
3. Who processes your data
We use these service providers to run the app. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:
- Supabase — account authentication and database storage
- Vercel — hosting of the web app
- Render — hosting of our API server
- Cloudinary — storage and delivery of pet photos
- Email delivery provider — sends reminder emails to your account email
Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
4. Permissions on your device
- Camera — only when you choose to take a pet photo
- Photo library — only when you choose a pet photo
- Internet and vibration — to talk to our servers and for haptic feedback
The app does not request microphone, location, contacts or notification permissions.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data until you delete it or delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (pets, medications, vaccinations, vet visits, notes, expenses, reminders and uploaded photos) at any time from the app: Settings → Account actions → Delete account. If you cannot access the app, see how to request account deletion.
Backups kept by our hosting providers may retain deleted data for a limited period before they are overwritten.
6. Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your data in the app, and delete it as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights such as access or correction; contact us and we will respond.
7. Children
WhiskerDairy is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
